Regeneration Outcomes How to Guide

introduction

Who is this guide for?

This How to Guide is intended to be a practical guide to achieving regeneration outcomes. It aims to improve understanding of what an outcome based approach has to offer.

The Guide will be useful for:

• Programme co-ordinators – particularly those with responsibility for developing regeneration outcome agreements or contributing towards the achievement of outcomes in their area. The How to manage the process and How to develop the strategy sections may be particularly useful for programme co-ordinators.

• Project/service managers - including health professionals, education providers, the police and community safety workers and the enterprise network. These partners have responsibility for the delivery of services that contribute to successful regeneration outcomes. The How to select outcomes and How to select interventions sections may be particularly useful for project/service providers.

• Information officers – providing evidence to inform the development and monitoring of regeneration outcomes. The How to develop the strategy and How to track progress sections may be particularly useful for information officers.

• Community planning partners – particularly those who have an input into the strategic development and implementation of regeneration outcome agreements or outcome agreements in other policy areas. The Developing your understanding and How to develop the strategy sections may be particularly useful for community planning partners.

• Community representatives – specifically, those who have a role in developing and implementing regeneration outcome agreements or other outcome agreements such as antisocial behaviour outcome agreements. The Developing your understanding section may be particularly useful for community representatives.
